PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT

This Player Code of Conduct applies to all players, trial participants, and squad members associated with the Bihar T10 League (“the League”, “we”, “our”, “us”). We demand the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
By participating in any League activity, players agree to comply with the following standards of behavior.
1. Purpose of the Code
The purpose of this Code is to:
- Promote sportsmanship, respect, and fair play across all levels of the tournament.
- Ensure a safe, professional, and competitive environment.
- Protect the reputation and values of the Bihar T10 League.
2. General Behavior
All players must:
- Conduct themselves with dignity and professionalism at all times.
- Treat teammates, opponents, organizers, match officials, and venue staff with absolute respect.
- Strictly follow instructions issued by League coordinators and technical officials.
3. On-Field Conduct
Players must:
- Respect the Umpire: Umpire decisions are final. Any display of dissent, verbal or physical, is strictly prohibited.
- Spirit of the Game: Avoid aggressive behavior, offensive “sledging,” or intentional intimidation.
- Equipment Care: Refrain from damaging ground property, pitch surfaces, or official equipment.
- Integrity: Play to win while adhering to the official T10 rules and anti-corruption guidelines.
4. Off-Field Conduct
Players must:
- Maintain discipline at all times during the tournament duration.
- Strictly avoid alcohol or banned substances at any League-sanctioned event or venue.
- Refrain from any public action or statement that may harm the reputation of the League or Bihar cricket.
5. Communication & Digital Conduct
Players must:
- Maintain respectful communication on all digital platforms, including official WhatsApp groups and social media.
- Avoid abusive language, political or religious arguments, and personal attacks.
- Not disclose confidential team strategies or internal league matters to the public or media without authorization.
6. Safety & Fitness
- Players participate at their own risk and must confirm they are medically fit for high-intensity competition.
- Any injuries sustained during matches must be reported immediately to the League medical team.
- Official safety gear must be worn as mandated by match regulations.
7. Commitment & Punctuality
- Players must confirm availability for matches and practice sessions within the specified timelines.
- Punctuality is mandatory. Repeated late arrivals or unexcused absences may result in disqualification from the squad.
8. Disciplinary Actions
The Bihar T10 League reserves the right to take appropriate action for violations, including:
- Verbal or written warnings and official match fines.
- Temporary suspension from matches or the remainder of the season.
- Permanent ban from future League events.
- The decision of the League management and the Disciplinary Committee shall be final.
9. Zero-Tolerance Policy
The League enforces a zero-tolerance policy for:
- Physical violence or threats of any kind.
- Discrimination based on caste, religion, gender, or background.
- Any form of harassment, bullying, or intimidation.
10. Acknowledgement
Participation in any Bihar T10 League activity confirms that the player has read, understood, and agreed to abide by this Code of Conduct.
11. Governing Law
This Code of Conduct shall be governed by the laws of India.
